Limitations of Ultrasound
While ultrasound is a highly accurate diagnostic tool, it has inherent limitations.
Some structures or abnormalities may not be visible due to patient anatomy, bowel gas, or other technical factors.
Further imaging or tests may be recommended by your clinician when necessary.
